Sport Matters: Community Capital Programme - closed for applications December 2010.
At the programme closing date Sport Northern Ireland received 141 applications requesting £29.61 million. With the present capital budget, allocated to Sport Northern Ireland from the Department of Culture Arts and Leisure, it has been possible to move a small batch of these applications (deemed to be successful with regards to the assessment process) to the next stage of the process.
The remaining applications (deemed to be successful with regards to the assessment process) are currently being held on a call off list and will be notified accordingly in the event of future budget becoming available. Projects will be prioritised for funding, first byassessment score and then by state of readiness, ie planning permission in place, partnership funding and satisfactory security of tenure.
