Jenna takes second place at Golden Spin in Zagreb
Sport Northern Ireland funded ice skater Jenna McCorkell took second place at the 41st Golden Spin in Zagreb on Saturday 15 November. Twenty-four skaters from 22 countries took part in the event. Jenna was in fifth place after the short but skated a flawless programme to take second place after the final free programme. First place went to European Champion Julia Sebastian of Hungary.
Jenna is delighted as she will move up the rankings in preparation for the European Championships where she finished eighth out of 48 skaters last year.
