Laverty crowned Irish Racer Motorcyclist of the year…
On Friday evening Sport Northern Ireland funded Michael Laverty was crowned Irish Racer Magazine Irish Motorcyclist of the Year 2008 at a prestigious ceremony that took place in the Ramada Hotel in Belfast.
Sport Northern Ireland would like to congratulate Michael on this new title. 2007 was a great year for Michael and saw him lifting the British Supersport title at Brands Hatch. This year Michael will be moving up into British Superbikes to compete. We wish him continued success for the future.
