BUILDING SPORT PROGRAMME

The Building Sport programme is currently closed for applications.

Recent high levels of applications combined with significantly reduced levels of lottery have necessitated the closure of this capital funding programme.

At the same time SNI is working to develop the first sports facility strategy for Northern Ireland that will contribute to a new strategy for Sport and Physical Recreation 2007-2017.  It is therefore likely that any reopened capital programme will be significantly reduced in scale, and will be more specifically focused on the targets contained within a new Sports Facility Strategy for Northern Ireland.

Although the Building Sport programme is currently closed, you can still access the information resources as these may help you to develop your club infrastructure for sport or indeed, assist you in the preparation of other grant applications.
