ccw2016 On Monday 25th of September 2017 Sport Northern Ireland will host a conference focusing on club development and workforce development at Titanic Belfast.  The conference will include two high quality key note sessions as well as opportunities to attend two, from a choice of four, workshops. The key note sessions will focus on Successful Partnership working, led by Scottish Swimming national coach Alan Lynn; and the Psychology of Engagement led by Professor Damian Hughes of Liquid Thinker. Workshop session titles will include ‘Common Cause: Working Together’, ‘Supporting Women in the Coaching Sporting Workforce’, ‘Recruit & Retain: Increasing the Club Volunteer Population’, and ‘A Behaviour Change Approach to Sports Club Membership’.  These sessions will be delivered by a range of facilitators from national agencies, governing bodies of sport and local authorities, featuring key principles of each area as well as case studies of practice.
