Sport NI, in partnership with the Department for Communities, initially opened the Covid Safe Sport Project on the 21st September 2020. The programme aimed to assist Sports organisations with their management of the ease of lockdown and a safe return to sport during the COVID-19 pandemic. The process to procure and purchase all of the components of the packs took some time but all of the pack materials have been delivered by or collected from our delivery partners USEL. A total of 2213 packs were delivered to 1289 clubs across N. Ireland. A summary of the Covid Safe Sport Project is available if you click here and shown below.
