Every Body Active 2020: Outdoor Spaces is a lottery funded grants programme aimed at developing new outdoor recreation facilities and infrastructure spread across Northern Ireland. Sport Northern Ireland considers outdoor recreation to encompass all sport and physical recreation that takes place in the natural environment whether on land, water or air. The natural environment is considered to be woodland and forests, open moorland, riverside, lakeside and coast, urban park land and farmland.
Sport Northern Ireland’s Every Body Active 2020: Outdoor Spaces programme seeks to prioritise the development of projects which contribute to addressing the continued under-representation in sport and physical recreation amongst the below target groups:
People living in Northern Ireland must benefit from your project.
All potential applicants will be expected to operate good levels of governance, including having in place an acceptable constitution, child protection policy and equity policy.

The minimum award available is £10,000 and the maximum is £120,000 for any project.
