Project Re:Boot – Team Up

As part of the Team Up element of Project Re-boot we are asking clubs/ groups to create innovative and creative new projects which will engage and attract new members to your club/ group as well as re-engaging existing members who may have drifted away from the club over the past year. Clubs have played a massive part in the frontline response to the pandemic, through such difficult arduous times for everyone in our communities. But now, it is time to get back to what clubs do best, providing high quality opportunities for members to participate in Sport.

The purpose of this fund is that your club can emerge, post Covid-19 with a strong membership base. When planning your project we would encourage you to think outside of the box, this fund is not designed to fund existing projects or programmes that your club may already be involved with. We would like to see new and exciting ways to engage a new audience for your club, this can be done by reaching out to other clubs or organisations and forming partnerships that your club would not normally work with.

Think of how you are going to communicate with your target audience, is social media the best way to do so? What is the most effective way for you to spread word and good news stories of your project out to your community? We have included some case studies below to highlight some innovative projects that are currently under way, hopefully these will inspire some creative thinking. Sport NI will provide a support service to clubs during the application process and will work with successful applicants to support them through the life span of their project.
