The Irish FA is inviting sports clubs and organisations to attend a workshop on Sunday 28th January aimed at increasing the capability and sustainability of women’s clubs.

The Building Momentum Mentoring Workshop, which takes place at the National Football Stadium at Windsor Park, is part of a building more momentum series of events in conjunction with Ulster Rugby, GAA and Female Sports Forum.

The workshop will feature an  introduction to the Irish FA Mentoring Programme, video and interview. There will also be group discussions with Development plan for the clubs as well as a Museum tour.

The Building Momentum workshops is part of the ‘Active Fit and Sporty’ project which came about as a result of funding from Sport Northern Ireland and Department for Communities with an announced investment of nearly £120,000 over the next year into creating opportunities for women and girls to get active and develop leadership skills through sport and physical activity.

The workshop is open to all sports and organisations, with the intention to share learning and help develop all female sports and physical activity.

The workshop will take place at 10.00 on Sunday 28th January at The National Football Stadium at Windsor Park.
