Stadia Safety Programme Phase I - Armagh GAA

   

Project Description - £830,693

 

The proposed project involves upgrading the west, north and south terraces and building part of the east stand, and can be summarised as follows:

 

West Terrace: construction of a structural steel supported roof covering the back four rows, crush barriers, entrance area with turnstiles and gates, toilets and resurfacing of access and egress routes;

 

North Terrace: construction of a fully compliant terrace with concrete steps, crush barriers, entrance area with turnstiles and gates, toilets, pitch fencing and resurfacing of access and egress routes;

 

South Terrace: construction of a fully compliant terrace with concrete steps, crush barriers, entrance area with turnstiles and gates, toilets, pitch fencing and resurfacing of access and egress routes; and

 

East Stand: construction of a concrete stand for seating approx. 1800 spectators in the centre of the touch line (to which wings can be added later), entrance area with turnstiles and gates, a toilet block under the stand, pitch fencing and surface paving.
