Project Funding - £557,773

Following completion of the project, the venue’s safe capacity will increase to 32,830.  The works listed below will ensure that the venue completely addresses the previous safety deficiencies.

The work at the ground will include:

• The construction of a “state of the art” Crowd Control Room which will be located at the Motorway end of the venue;
• The provision of disabled spectators’ accommodation;
• The installation of a modern CCTV system which will enable the safe management of large crowds at the venue;
• The tarmacing of entrances and exits to the ground;
• Erection of new safety gates at the Owevarragh and Mooreland Park exits; and
• Provision of new safety fencing on the pitch perimeter.
