Project Funding - £405,123

 

Following completion of the project, the venue now has a capacity of 20,820 of which 9,500 (46%) is seated. The works completed includes the following:

 

  • New terracing between the East Stand and South Terrace with standing provision for up to 1,000 fans.
  • Surface paving of access/routes and walkways to rear of stands and terrace area.
  • New concrete steps and hand rails will be built at the end of the South Terrace access.
  • New fencing will be erected to required areas within the stadium.
  • New wall and entrance gates built.
  • Deficient perimeter pitch fencing will be replaced (enabling capacity of East Stand to be increased by 1,000).
  • New CCTV facility within ground.
  • Alternative exit will be provided from the stand for the disabled.
  • Computerised monitoring count system will be installed in turnstiles.
  • Female toilet block constructed to rear of South Terrace.
  • Additional signage within the ground to aid access and egress within ground.
  • Resurfacing of loose gravel areas.
  • Separate bays within two stands for family area.
