Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games

The Northern Ireland Commonwealth Games Council (NICGC) is seeking to recruit a Chef de Mission for the Birmingham Commonwealth Games which will take place from 27th July to 7th August 2022. The information attached serves as an invitation for individuals who meet the criteria to submit their CV and a covering letter as an expression of interest to fulfil the role.

Disability Sport NI

Disability Sport NI is the main disability sports charity in Northern Ireland working to improve the health and wellbeing of children and adults with disabilities through sport and active recreation.

Disability Sport NI is currently recruiting the following post:
Disability Sports Hub – Activity Leader
(Part-time – up to 40hrs per month)
In Derry City and Strabane District Council Area

Salary Scale: NJC Scale 6-7 (£10 per hour)
Duration: January 2020 – March 2022 (subject to funding)

The successful applicant will support the development and delivery of a range of inclusive participation programmes through the ‘Disability Sports Hub Project’ which will enable more people with disabilities to lead a fit and active lifestyle in their local community.

As the Development Officer for Northern Ireland, you will be a key point of contact for our 220 NI members, ensuring they are appropriately supported with a range of membership benefits and services to build their capacity.  You will support the delivery of key thematic partnerships & projects, and recruit & train our team of Volunteer Business Mentors across Northern Ireland, building Sported’s capacity to engage with groups on a range of topic areas.
