Thanks to all those who joined us in 2020 in saying a big #ThanksToYou to the National Lottery players who help raise more than £30 million every week for good causes throughout the UK.
On Friday 19th November 2021, we are asking the whole National Lottery Family and the projects it supports to come together on social media to share their Cross Finger Selfies, using the hashtag #ThanksToYou, in order to say a collective thank you to National Lottery players for their incredible contribution to good causes across the UK.
We would love to replicate the success of last year’s Cross Finger Selfie day where #ThanksToYou and #NationalLottery both trended on Twitter, with #ThanksToYou peaking as the 3rd highest trend! Last year #ThanksToYou was mentioned 7,113 times, and had a total reach of 151M.
Sport Northern Ireland is asking for your help to spread the word about the Cross Finger Selfie day, in order to get as many people involved as possible. I have attached a Guidance Document above which includes further information about the campaign and how to get involved.
