Register your defibrillator now and help save more lives
Would you know your clubs POST CODE in case of an emergency??
As part of the Community Planning Process Sport NI, Northern Ireland Ambulance Service and local councils have been working together on Creating a Community of Lifesavers.
CPR is vital to the survival success rate.
Location and maintenance of registered Defibrillators is also important.
In the case of an emergency would you now the POSTCODE of your facility/grounds?
As a community planning partnership we are encouraging all sports clubs to place signs/posters etc. in a prominent place so that in a case of emergency this can be given to the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service.
To save more lives, map your defibrillator.
It is estimated that over 70,000 defibrillators are unknown to ambulance services in the UK, making them less likely to be used in the event of an emergency.
Register yours on The Circuit – The National Defibrillator Network, and give your defibrillator its best chance at saving a life.
Register on The Circuit today.
The Circuit’s purpose is to locate and register the UK’s estimated 100,000 defibrillators – connecting them directly and automatically to each 999 service so that bystanders can be pointed to them in an emergency.
This is where your defibrillator comes in.
Once registered on The Circuit, you’ll receive direct reminders when something needs to be done, such as a check-in or pad replacement, to ensure your defibrillator is always emergency-ready.
