Team NI has announced their three person Judo squad for the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

Judo has been one of the most successful sports at the Commonwealth Games for TeamNI withv athletes bringing home medals every time the martial art has been included in the programme.

Athlete Award recipient, Rachael Hawkes, will be taking part in her second Commonwealth Games after a fifth place finish in Birmingham four years ago.

Hawkes, a European Cup gold medallist, has an impressive tally of podium finishes in continental open events, with two golds, four silver, and two bronze medals.

Also in the squad is Joshua Green who will also be at his second games after achieved a fifth-place finish in Birmingham.

Green has won multiple Irish Championship titles and is no stranger to success on the international stage with a gold medal at Montreal Pan-American Open his first continental open victory.

Completing the squad is Adam Hall who is a highly decorated judoka both nationally and internationally.

Hall has won the Scottish and Welsh Opens whilst recently securing a bronze medal at the European Cup in Riga and has won multiple World Cup medals.
