Sport NI has launched a public consultation on the new System Partners Investment – NGB Programme (2026–2031), which will replace the current funding model for Governing Bodies of Sport.

The programme focuses on two strands:

  • Participation – building stronger, more inclusive pathways that attract and retain participants.
  • Performance – strengthening athlete pathways and performance systems to support NI athletes on the national and international stage.

The consultation opened on 12 September 2025 and will close on 7 November 2025.

We are inviting governing bodies, clubs, athletes, coaches, volunteers, and members of the public to share their views. Your feedback will help us design an investment programme that supports the sporting system, tackles inequalities, and delivers meaningful outcomes.

Your voice matters. Help shape the future of sport in Northern Ireland.
