The NIPLF was established by Sport NI as part of our ongoing work to highlight the importance of physical literacy with 27 partner organisations involved including governing bodies, local councils, health trusts and the leisure sector.
The theme of the day was ‘Fostering Belonging and Inclusion through Physical Literacy’ delivered by Dr Nalda Wainwright, Director Wales Academy for Health & Physical Literacy at the University of Wales Trinty Saint David.
Dr Wainwright shared using practical workshops challenging attendees to be reflective of what Physical Literacy means for them and their current approach to the subject.
