Clean Sport Week 2025 – Supporting The Next Generation
Clean Sport Week is a vital time in the sporting calendar to reflect on the importance of fair competition and education in anti-doping. This year’s campaign, led by UK Anti-Doping (UKAD), focuses on “The Next Generation”, aiming to equip young athletes with the knowledge and values they need to compete clean throughout their careers. More information about the 2025 campaign can be found on the UKAD website.
As part of this year’s campaign, we were proud to host a Clean Sport Workshop in collaboration with the Mary Peters Trust, attended by none other than Lady Mary Peters herself.
The session brought together several of the talented athletes supported by the Trust, offering an invaluable opportunity to discuss the foundations of clean sport, share personal insights, and promote a strong support network for up-and-coming competitors.
The workshop was expertly hosted by our Anti-Doping Consultant Wendy Henderson and our Pure Winner Tutor Phillip McKelvey, whose guidance helped shape the conversation around integrity and accountability in sport.
It was inspiring to hear directly from Lady Mary and the athletes she champions, as they committed to upholding the highest standards in sport.
We also continued to gather and share impactful stories from athletes and support personnel across Northern Ireland who are leading by example and helping to educate the next generation:
