Sport NI …empowering athletes to be Pure Winners

We are fully committed to educating and informing athletes and athlete support personnel about everything Clean Sport so they are fully prepared for competition success.   Be it National or International Championships, Olympic, Paralympic or Commonwealth Games, awareness of drugs in sport has never been more relevant.

The Pure Winner programme has continued to develop to promote Sport NI’s strong stance to protect athlete’s fundamental right to participate in Clean Sport and thus promote health, fairness, and equality for athletes in Northern Ireland.

Our clean sport strategy works within a unique sporting landscape to ensure that Northern Ireland athletes and support personnel are aware of Anti-Doping issues.

Pure Winner provides advice, support, and anti- doping education. You can contact us at anti-doping@sportni.net for advice and to find about the next available workshop, we also provide updates on Twitter.    Athletes can also be more informed by checking out Anti-Doping information from: UKAD, Sport Ireland and WADA.
