Sport Northern Ireland offers a geographic information service (GIS) to anyone planning for a new or refurbished sports facility. The GIS allows Sport Northern Ireland to plot sports facilities in relation to areas of greatest need, or add travel time boundaries to determine the percentage of the population likely to access a proposed sports facility development. There are many different variables of the GIS.
