Sport NI recently completed a public consultation on the new System Partners Investment (SPI) – NGB Programme (2026–2031), which will replace the current funding model for Governing Bodies of Sport.
The consultation opened on 12 September 2025 and closed on Monday 10 November 2025 at 10am.
We thank everyone who contributed their views during the consultation period. Your feedback is helping us shape an investment programme that supports the sporting system, tackles inequalities, and delivers meaningful outcomes.
We are now inviting all recognised Governing Bodies to complete the Expression of Interest (EOI) form for the SPI programme. This will help Sport NI:
Please submit your completed EOI form and your organisation’s most recent signed accounts by 5:00pm on Thursday, 27 November 2025 to sportssystems@sportni.net.
Completing the EOI does not guarantee funding but is essential for consideration under the SPI programme.
