The Performance Skills Unit offer Athletes and Coaches the chance to develop mental strategies which can aid performance. These strategies enhance their capacity to cope with demanding environments and maximises performance under pressure.
The Performance Skills Unit combines Performance Lifestyle and Sports Psychology.
This unit delivers strategies in the performance environment through one to one interventions, team sessions and practical workshops, designed to suit the needs and demands of the particular sport.
By working closely with athlete and / or coach the Performance Skills Unit can provide them with the tools they need to handle pressure, minimise stress impact on performance and perform to their optimal ability. The Performance Skills unit offers support in both training and competition environments.
The Performance Skills unit provides coach education workshops to empower coaches with the knowledge of how to get the most from their athletes using mental strategies which allows them to carry this through their coaching career and the many different personalities they will work with.
